The CDA was created in 1963
Purpose
The CDA exists to accelerate Chester County economically and to serve as a proactive partner in conserving the county’s long-term economic health.
As growth continues in Chester County, we are diligently working with Chester County Economic Development (CCED) to lead with intentionality and remain a premiere destination for people, industry, retail, residential and commercial developments and more.
We do this by assisting CCED with a variety of efforts pertaining to economic development strategies, business attraction and expansion, enrichment of employment opportunities, site development, promoting small business, creating strategic partnerships, supporting marketing missions and more.
2023 Year End Review

CDA is a private, non-profit organization that is made up of members and lead by an executive committee. The CDA works with Chester County Government as a partner, but is not a government entity. CCED is the economic development department for Chester County Government.
Fill out membership application form and email copy to Lawanna Thompson at lthompson@choosechester.com. Please mail check to address on form. We do not take credit card payments at this time.
Dues are billed annually from when your organization joined. Example: If you joined July of 2024, your investment is good until July of 2025.
