We are delighted by Luck Companies’ commitment to invest $93 million on 277 acres in Chester County that will create 25 new jobs. To be a good neighbor they even purchased an adjacent 90 acres and down zoned that parcel to agricultural to provide an additional buffer. This project is expected to lower both aggregate material and construction costs in our community. We are looking forward to seeing them breaking ground in the future.

Chester County Administrator Brian Hester

Luck Companies’ commitment to invest $93 million in Chester County represents an increase of $57.9 million over their original plans. I am most excited about is their plans to develop a 75-acre business park, plus set aside another 15 acres for future economic development use. This will support the development of small and mid-size industrial and commercial buildings that are greatly needed in our growing community.

Chester County Economic Development Director Robert Long

We are thrilled by Luck Companies’ plans to invest in the I-77 region. Between Chester and Fairfield counties, Luck Stone will invest $183 million and create more than 25 new jobs. These plans include a new quarry in Chester and an expansion of an existing one in Fairfield. The corridor between Columbia to Charlotte will be well-positioned for aggregate material for decades to come.
