Zaxbys Ready for Customerz

Was it pure good luck or maybe a crystal ball that saw to it that the new Richburg Zaxby’s would be located just a stone’s throw from the Giti Tire Plant? Store manager Brenda Douglas isn’t saying, but she had a big smile on her face this past Monday as she held the ribbon at the ribbon cutting of the newest restaurant, located at 3009 Crenshaw Parkway, just off Lancaster Highway, near the Gateway Conference Center and coincidentally, near the planned 1.8 million square foot tire facility.

With the help of the Chester County Chamber of Commerce, Douglas and her staff and regional officers from Zaxby’s cut the ribbon on the newest addition to the restaurant line, the first one in Chester County and the 85th for South Carolina.

Douglas, said “we’re happy to be here.” She said Zaxby’s is a unique restaurant for employees because the corporate people really take care of their employees and believe in their mission statement: ‘Consistently create encore experiences that enrich lives one person at a time.’

She said for the customers, choosing Zaxby’s means they’ll get “the best food you can put in your mouth – always good, always hot. And we have an awesome staff working for us,” she said.

With seating for 90, the new 3,847 square-foot restaurant’s feature items include chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches and salads and will operate 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
