Economic Development Assistant Director Making Big Impacts in Chester County
[CHESTER COUNTY, S.C., March 6, 2025] – Assistant director Karen Davison with Chester County Economic Development named to the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2025 class of honorees in CBJ’s 40 Under 40 awards program.
I am delighted to be amongst the class of 2025. What an honor! We are in such a great strategic location on I-77 between Charlotte and Columbia, Chester County practically sells itself. I am so fortunate to be exposed to economic development as a career with my first job after college.
Karen stated as our assistant director in May 2024 and has already made a significant impact of our economic development efforts in Chester County. She worked previously with the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and Charleston Regional Development Alliance, but this is her first time working as a local economic developer.
